Regular Sunday School starts at 9:45 on Sunday mornings...

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

Sunday School begin with a glow on Sunday, Sept. 14th
During September our children wil start out the new Sunday School year. Each age level wil discover Jesus through age appropriate materials. Groupings this year include preschool, K thru 4th grade, 5th, 6th and'7th grade and our 8th thru 12 grade class. Our youngest ones will work to learn bible basics while k thru 4 are discover how God lights the way for us to serve. Our middle school class has creativity all their own while the oldest of the children's classes will delve into the bible to discover individual persons in the bible who have played a part in spread Christ's word. It is never too late to join or visit a class. Parents are welcome to visit with their child.

Each Sunday we will keep the following schedule:
9:55-10:30: the week’s program, each child attends the appropriate age group

Kingdom Kids will continue: during the 10:45 service each Sunday. A program was started during the summer and will continue thru the fall and winter seasons. The children learn a bible verse, play games and hear stories to reinforce the verse and follow the antics of Tara and Toko as they sort out their problems using the verse of the day as the guide. Have your child give it a try, it's a really fun time!

The Children's Ministrv team is working on alternative programs to serve both the children of our congregation and the children of the community. One idea is a children's after school program and members of the team have been visiting other churches to get ideas. Watch out for future news and see how you might be able to serve as we reach from within and without to spread God's message to the children.

Have you been called to teach?   God calls upon all of us in many ways.  He gives us our talents, our strengths, and even shows us our limitations.  Being a part of the church and society give us the opportunity to use what God has given us so graciously.  Some of us are called to teach and to work in an educational setting in other ways.  At this time, there is a need for teachers, teachers helpers, and substitutes in our Sunday School program.  To find out more about how you may serve, please call the church office and speak with Sue or call Sharon Young at 724-925-0225.
